Virtual reality stadium will unlock sport content

Virtual reality will bring the thrill of the stadium into the lounge room with a new platform that lets users share the experience with friends across the globe. Through the LiveLike VR app action can be viewed from multiple angles, within a customisable stadium. Social integration allows viewers to invite friends, who will appear as avatars with 3D located voice. There’s even a live stats board and a back room to watch highlights and replays.



Our take

In 2016 the experience is everything and we know that the experience of watching live sport is more than just the on field action. According to Nielsen, a key motivation for Australian sports fans is the social aspect.  The ability to share the action with friends will make viewing through LiveLike a truly immersive experience and unlocks exciting opportunities for sport content.
