There‘s an app for that

Google estimates 30% of shopping is now via apps, delivering frictionless exchanges. Blippar, Visa and House of Holland have created an app allowing users to point their phone at another person & purchase what they’re wearing. At London Fashion Week, guests “blipped” models, buying the House of Holland clothes they wore & having them delivered in 24hrs.

This app is a test of concept for Blippar who are heavily invested in “Visual Search”, where augmented reality drives mobile search from visual cues. We could move from “Googling it” to “Blipping it”.
