Until now sharing music on Facebook hasn’t been seamless. You could only post a YouTube video or connect with Spotify.
However as of last week, you can create an entirely new type of post called a Music Story. It allows your friends to listen to a 30-second clip of a song that you posted streamed from either Apple Music or Spotify, they then have the option to buy or save the music.
This is a new frontier for Facebook which has previously invested heavily in video.
