SBS not afraid to stand out from the crowd

SBS has demonstrated their ongoing commitment to differentiating themselves from the rest of the market. At their Upfront held in Sydney on Tuesday, SBS showcased their 2018 line-up of programs that continue to push the boundaries of storytelling and showcase different perspectives on Australian culture, lifestyle, gender, racism & age through a range of programs and genres.

Our take

In 2017 SBS successfully attracted new audiences by embracing digital streaming & developing unique youth programming, successfully engaging more Australians across their culturally diverse content from around the world than ever before. There seems to be a growing desire for content that more accurately represents modern Australian culture. There is an opportunity for brands to embrace this shift and provide culturally & socially relevant content through addressable TV as another layer of consumer targeting.
