ARN launches personalized radio advertising


Advertisers will now be able to tailor their audio advertising via the iHeartRadio service with the launch of AdsWizz technology. The new tech allows clients to access audio streams, pre-rolls, podcasts & banners via a new programmatic offering, leveraging specific profile characteristics & key demographic information, in order to customize campaigns and improve engagement.

Our take

This move comes at a volatile time for radio streaming services with the exit of Pandora from the Australian market. The opportunity for clients to strategically engage with the 820,000 registered users across the platform is a step in the right direction, and time will tell if it improves engagement & if ARN will nail the commercial opportunity in this market where others have failed.
