Apple Announces the iPhone 7

On September 7th 2016, Apple announced the new iPhone7. Of all the upgrades and features, negative reaction to the lack of a headphone jack overshadowed the introduction of Apple’s first dual lens camera on the iPhone. The new system promises optical zoom without moving parts, while also allowing for better noise reduction across images.

Our take

The new camera setup offering wide (28mm) and telephoto (56mm) lenses, with a better low light and more powerful sensor means more flexibility while shooting pictures and creating memories on the move. Improved photos mean a higher shareability factor across social platforms. Photographic and lifestyle apps such as Instagram will work with their developers to ensure that the new technology is assimilated into their app in ways such as “instant memory posts”. Photo envy coming soon!
