Converse is marking 100 years with a “Made By You” campaign which celebrates its iconic Chuck Taylor All Star shoes. Across art installations and advertising mediums, Converse is displaying how creatives such as Patti Smith and Andy Warhol customised their sneakers into well-worn, one-of-a-kind artworks – a practice synonymous with the shoe among all fans. The idea of “Made By You” is to get Converse advocates to share stories of their Chucks through social channels – Instagram in particular.
