IMPORTANCE OF THE ROLE: The Media Assistant will support the planning and buying team in management of client business and represent The Media Store professionally within the marketplace. A Media Assistant is an entry-level position into the media industry, typically a University Graduate who is has a curious mind and passion to learn and grow in the dynamic Media Industry.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:
Media Planning & Buying support – Admin focussed
- Assists buying and planning teams prepare presentations, confirm media bookings, sends material instructions to the media on which ads to run
- Assists in the collection of all media information to provide full implementation services
- Processing and loading media bookings
- Checking and matching media confirmations and pre-telecast times
- Monitoring spots against bookings
- Assists with the preparation of all media documents and presentations
- Sourcing media rates as required
- Media monitoring, proof of performance and post analysis including collation of campaign performance metrics
- Assists with budget reconciliation, checks invoices, settles account queries
- Collection of data for competitive reports
- Updating WIP reports and general administration support
ON THE JOB TRAINING:
- The Media Assistant will be required to attend MFA NGEN sessions and complete the MFA Digital Foundations Certificate I

- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint (mandatory)
