Google has released a new app called Verne: The Himalayas. It lets you explore the Himalayas in a completely different way using Google’s map technology and 3D imagery.
The main character in the app is Verne, a 500-foot Yeti. The user can take control of Verne to run up Mt. Everest, take a jetpack ride, discover local information and play instruments – proving it as an educational tool as well as for entertainment.
It definitely provides more adventure than walking around the block playing Pokemon Go!
