IMPORTANCE OF THE ROLE: A Digital Media Executive is crucial to the smooth running of our Clients’ digital campaigns.  This role ensures that all online campaigns are implemented as per the booked plan and trouble-shooting is effectively managed.  The candidate has 1-2 years media agency experience. KEY ROLES OF THE DIGITAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE:

  • Signing and filing of insertion orders
  • Ensuring material instructions sheets are completed correctly
  • Collating screenshots of live campaigns to be sent to client/used for Interaction case studies
  • Continual monitoring of all campaigns to ensure they deliver on time
  • Helping the team with campaign reporting and post analysis
  • Helping the team research consumer behaviour when in planning cycle and collating useful consumer insights
  • Loading online media schedules with Finance and checking proformas
  • Trained in buying online media and assists in buying of online campaigns

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:

  • Solid knowledge and expertise with Doubleclick and Google Analytics – training on these systems will also be supplied
  • Solid knowledge and expertise of Facebook Business Manager – able to take direction from Digital Manager concerning Paid Social strategies
  • Interpreting media data and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements
  • Supporting the Digital Account Manager in the smooth implementation and delivery of campaigns, alerting other team members at the outset of any under delivery or questionable data
  • Supporting the Digital Account Manager in campaign reporting and proactively suggesting ideas to continually improve
  • Proficiency in managing and optimising the campaign to exceed Client objectives
  • Taking charge of delivering daily/weekly/monthly reporting requirements and learn write informative insight to support the data
  • Using tools to build competitive landscape reports, as well as other general market research
  • Liaising with Publishers whenever necessary
  • Demonstrating initiative to help out the team across accounts
  • Liaising with the Digital Manager & Business Director to ensure the campaign set up reflects the approved online media schedule

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Demonstrate an interest in and appetite for digital media
  • Have experience in Google Adwords, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Have an understanding of SEM KPIs such as conversions, CPA etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products – particularly Excel
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be self-disciplined
  • Communicate effectively to manage expectations and elevate challenges to ensure they are dealt with quickly
  • Follow process but also be able to suggest improvements to the existing process as we are always open to learning how to improve process
  • Demonstrate initiative to help the broader team – from proactively helping the team set up for meetings to offering to help if a fellow team member is experiencing a heavy workload
  • Demonstrate independent thinking and implementation skills
